Peak-Peak to RMS or RMS to Peak-Peak

Vrms is defined as square root of the mean of the squares of the values for the one time period of the sine wave.
Volts peak to peak is defined as the voltage measured between the maximum Positive and Negative Amplitudes on the sine wave.

Following is the formula for Vpp to Vrms or Vrms to Vpp conversion.
V_rms = 0.3535 * V_pp or V_pp = V_rms * 2.828
Where V_pp is the peak to peak volatge and V_rms is the root mean square voltage.

To Calculate V_rms from V_pp enter the value in V_pp and hit V_rms button.

To Calculate V_pp from V_rms enter the value in V_rms and hit V_pp button.
