Over the years I have tried just about all the operating modes, and now seem to enjoy most the modes of SSB, RTTY and PSK. Locally most of the operating takes place on VHF/UHF FM, both from home and in the car but also do get involved with WAB on 80 & 40 mtrs from the car using an Icom 706.
For HF the Shack is equipped with a Kenwood TS590SG transceiver, a TenTec 238B tuner and an Acom 1010 amplifier.
For VHF & UHF in the shack I use a dual band Icom IC-2350H mobile radio.
