On day 7 I just inspected and sanded the side panels. Today I trimmed the side panels to length. I also cut the bow end of the sheer clamps. I also need to cut the stern end, but I ran out of time. It is harder to cut 3/4" square wood than I thought. I had to cut a diagonal (almost ripping along the length). I ended up cutting well into the waste side and then planing and sanding to the correct size.
