This was the first center fire rifle that I bought. The biggest factor in selecting this rifle was price; I bought it at WalMart for about $250. I reload my own ammunition for this rifle using my Lee Anniversary Reloading Kit that I bought from Cabela’s. The scope is a Tasco 3-9x 40mm Buckmaster that I got at WalMart. It will eventually be replaced with a better scope, but for now it does very well.
My wife bought this gun from Bass Pro Shop with the aftermarket stock included. She originally bought a red dot sight, but decided she wanted a telescopic sight, so she got a Tasco just like the one on my .270. It has since broken, so she is back to using the red dot.
I got this shotgun from my Grandpa after he died. I have shot it a few times, but there is some pitting in the inside of the barrel, so I won’t shoot it anymore. It’s not worth losing a hand or worse.
This was the first gun that I bought. It has a cheap BSA
scope on top that goes up to 7x zoom. The Tasco from the .270 will eventually end up on this gun.
Even without being able to see the dots, I was able to score 11 hits at 50
yards in battleship. At 50 feet, I hit all 15 from the bench.
I bought this gun for my birthday and put on an aftermarket stock from Cheaper Than Dirt. It’s a no frills working gun that shoots and feeds well.
I bought this gun to practice for the CHL qualification and as a carry gun. It had a problem feeding rounds at first, but after about 200 rounds, it works well. I have scored 227 points (that I was able to count) on a practice round of the Texas CHL course of fire.
