What about chapters that no longer exist?
The former members of the said chapter should have the initiative to work on it. Besides, their own authentication depends on it.
Who has the last say on the correctness of the roster?
The incumbent GC of the Collegiate Chapter or if not available, the next available officer.
Do we need to supply all the information being asked by the program?
NO, you do not need to supply all the information. The available
information may even vary from one member to another.
I do not know anything about web designing, how can I make our roster available for viewing on the internet?
The program ROSTER.EXE was designed not only to enable the user to create
and maintain the member records but it is capable of creating htm files for web
publishing. So it does not matter whether you are a web expert or no knowledge at all.
Please inform us if you have already uploaded it into the internet so
we can link it to our APOPHIL SITE for viewing.
I do not have access to the Internet. How can I upload it?
A: There are a number of Internet Cafes that you can use to upload your
htm files. They normally charge less than a hundred pesos per hour.
Do I I need an Internet Account or should I be a subscriber to have a web space to load my htm files?
If you have an Internet Accout or a subscriber you are given a web space to use for
your htm files for web publishing. But even if you do not have an Internet account, there
are a lot of sites offering free web space for everybody. Examples.. www.geocities.com,
www.angelfire.com, www.homestead.com, and a lot more. They offer free web space in exchange for the
advertisements.
We do not have any idea how to use a computer. What should we do?
Try to contact other Brothers & Sisters from other chapters or those who have already
uploaded their rosters. Remember the word SERVICE. There is always a Brod or a Sis
who can help you.
Specifically, do you know of any Brod or Sis from Region 8 who can help us with this project?
Brod Chito Refuerzo for one. He is an alumnus of Alpha Omicron Chapter and is now based in Seattle, WA, USA. He is also an active member of the APOPhil National Web Team. Another is Brod Rey Seno, an alumnus of Epsilon Omega Chapter who is this site's Web Master and also a member of the APOPhil National Web Team. He is based in Tacloban City.
