VK6 has a weekly broadcast
with items that are of general interest to Amateur radio operators
and any other person who also has an interest in radio.
The broadcasts are prepared on audio tape and are originated from VK6
on Perth voice repeater VK6RAP (146.100 / 146.700 Mhz)
The broadcast officer is always looking for news, and items of general interest, can you send items of news from your club/country group.
For the period of the broadcast, VK6RAP is linked
to the country repeater network

The VK6RAP 6 metre repeater at Roleystone on 53.800MHz
(-1.00MHz offset) has been connected into the news network,
listeners with 6M FM can tune into the broadcast on this frequency.
This repeater will activate during the evening rebroadcast of the
news and the monthly RAOTC relay, JOTA & RD broadcasts, etc.
Thanks to Tony Green, VK6YAG for the rebuild
and modifications to the 6 metre repeater and cavities.
These broadcasts are transmitted on several other Amateur radio bands
providing a wide coverage, from across town to world wide,
depending on the frequency used.

following the WIA National news which begins at 9am
