WESTAC
Western Australian Technical Advisory Committee.

The WIA (Wireless Institute of Australia) is the National body
responsible for setting National technical standards for Australian Amateurs

National standards such as co-ordinating frequencies for
voice repeaters, digital repeaters and beacons

A committee, as part of the Federal WIA,
FTAC (Federal Technical Advisory Committee)
co-ordinates each WIA division

In Western Australia because
we belive it is important to have liason between
the FTAC (Federal Technical Advisory Committee)  and
the Divisions on technical matters, we formed
WESTAC (West Australian Technical Advisory Committee)
to provide comments and feedback to FTAC.

Eddie VK6ZSE is the present Chairperson and Co-ordinator,
he has a team (of advisors) from most facits of our hobby.

If you feel that your area of expertise
