• The Houston ECHO Society and the Oak Forest Amateur Radio Club will again join to operate as N5WAJ – 3F STX. Talk-in frequencies are 146.52 simplex and repeaters 147.08 and 147.32. Location: 2700 Southwest Freeway, zip 77098. Back building next to parking garage. If the driveway gate is not open, call on your radio or by phone at 713-313-5319 or 713-868-7444.
• The radio room will be open by 11 a.m. Saturday, June 27. “On air” competition begins at 1 p.m. on June 27. NEW > Operator/Logger signup sheets will start at 11:30 a.m. in the radio room. Signup is for one-hour sessions. Two people can be at each of three radio positions. Please bring a set of your own amateur radio headphones to use as an operator and logger!
• We will be using N1MM+ software and laptops for all logging (CW, phone, digital) on all three stations
